Frances-Anne Layer, 83, of Newtown Square, passed away suddenly at home on May 22, 2025. Born August 19, 1941, in Darby, PA, Frances was the beloved daughter of the late Frances Fiordalis (nee Broders) and Thomas Clark.
Frances graduated from Darby High School in 1959 and dedicated her life to taking care of her family. She cherished her moments at the family cabin, loved drinking coffee, enjoyed music and singing along, and spending time with her beloved dogs.
She was married to the love of her life, Thomas, for 62 years. Together, they raised three children: Thomas Jr. (Kathy), Timothy (Christine), and Dana, who were the pride and joy of her life. Frances was also a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren, TJ, Erin, and Shane, and one great-grandchild, Theo.
Relatives & friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday, May 31st 12:00 PM – 12:45 PM, followed by her Funeral Service 1:00 PM in the Main Chapel at the DAnjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. Interment will be private.
Contributions in Frances-Anne's memory may be made online to the Greater Delaware Valley MS Society – Greater Delaware Valley Chapter | National MS Society.
