FRANCES JEANETTE BARRECA (nee Bailey) age 95, beloved wife of the late Anthony J. Barreca; loving mother of Toni Lee Cordaro (husband Paul) and the late John (wife Nancy deceased); devoted grandmother of Amy Cenna (nee Cordaro), Lori Woellert (husband Michael), Shayna Cook (husband Kenneth deceased), Gemma Jacobs (husband Jeffrey), Ariana Barreca and Sabrina Barreca and great-grandmother of Ashleigh, Noelle, Carter, Mason, Gabriella, Elizabeth and Juliana; cherished daughter of the late Albert Bailey and Esther (nee Merva) Zenobi; dearest sister of Charles Streets (wife Debbie) and Rose Marie Yuhas (husband Raymond deceased); dear aunt, great-aunt and friend of many.
Formerly of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Frances (Jean) resided in Newbury, Ohio. She was born December 21, 1928 in Rostraver, Pennsylvania and passed away on July 12, 2024. Frances loved spending time with family and friends. Known for her cheerful attitude with a smile, everyone who knew her loved her. In her later years, she cared for the elderly and sick in their homes. She found personal fulfillment helping others, especially those in need. A dog lover at heart, she would care for many animals, providing them with food and shelter. Frances dedicated her life to her family. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, warmth, generosity, strength, and for always being there with a listening ear and words of wisdom, "this too shall pass".

Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 18205 Chillicothe Road, Chagrin Falls, Ohio at 11AM. Burial following at All Saints Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Frances AT THE CHURCH WEDNESDAY 10-11AM. ARRANGEMENTS ENTRUSTED TO THE DEJOHN CREMATORY.
