WESLEY S. WELBAUM age 64, beloved husband for 6 years of Lisa (nee White); loving father of Stephanie; cherished son of Mary Lou (nee Solomon) and the late Garold; dearest brother of Brian (wife Wendy), Thomas, Nancy Ingle (husband David deceased), and Polly Rodgers (husband William Jr.); dear nephew, uncle, great-uncle, and friend of many.
Wesley was born on November 18, 1961 in Casstown, Ohio. Upon graduation from Miami East High School in 1980, he pursued a career as material handler in the steel industry. Wesley enjoyed nature walks, riding his Harley motorcycle, working out, listening to country music and traveling. He was a gentle giant and a man of few words with a giving heart. Wesley was a Past Great Chief of the Tonquas Tribe #222 and a brother of The Improved Order of Red Men (IORM). On February 14, 2026, this thoughtful, strong convicted, supportive, and caring gentlemen passed away and leaves behind his sarcastic sense of humor and friendly spirit.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Wesley to Wounded Warrior Project.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
