Services for Frances Virginia Boyette will be held Monday, January 8, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-North with Bro. Jack Kern officiating. Interment will follow at Meridian Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Boyette, 87, of Meridian, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at Brookdale Senior Living.
Frances was a devoted Navy wife, traveling with her husband and sons until Mr. Boyette’s retirement. They then settled in Meridian, where Mr. Boyette pursued an additional career in the postal service, allowing her to enjoy her time with their children and grandchildren in consistent scenery. She was a sweet and loving lady who never met a stranger. She spent her time playing bingo and socializing, and even enjoyed square dancing with her husband in her younger years. However, her favorite thing to do was spending time with her children and grandchildren, whom she adored.
She is survived by her sons, Russell “Rusty” E. Boyette Jr. (Dennese) and Bobby F. Boyette (Tammy); grandchildren, Neil James, Michele Stewart, Sarah Baldwin, Christopher Boyette, and Stephanie Anderson; and several great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Russell Eugene Boyette Sr.; and her parents, Samuel and Willie Brown Staton.
Pallbearers will include Eddie Partridge, Tim Partridge, Neil James, Steve Hughes, Jo Ramia, and John Harwell.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Frances’ memory.
Visitation will be held two hours prior to service at the funeral home.
