Frances Brown Obituary
Frances James Brown of North Little Rock, Arkansas was born July 23, 1934 in Carlisle, Arkansas, one of four daughters of Ernest and Grace James of Beebe. She was retired from Timex where she was supervisor of accounting. She loved Arkansas Razorback football and basketball and was a strong advocate of the state of Arkansas.
Frances passed away at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock on December 21, 2025.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband Louis Glen Brown; her daughter D’Ann Forrest; and her three sisters, Wilma Beard, Doris Blair, and Pat Hunnicutt. She is survived by daughter Debbie Maas (Larry) of Beebe, and son Mitchell Forrest (Lori) of Cabot; two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
Frances was a long-time devoted member of Lakewood United Methodist Church and The Bob Millett Sunday School Class. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
Visitation and Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 8 at Lakewood United Methodist Church, 1922 Topf Rd, North Little Rock, AR. Visitation at 10:00 AM with Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 AM.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens in Beebe, Arkansas.
