Frances Cagle Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 7, 2024.
Frances Laverne Cagle 83 of Beebe AR passed away on 9/5/2024 at home in loving presence of family. She was born April 5,1941 to the late William and Lillie Mae (Wallace) Crossman. In her free time, she loved crocheting baby blankets for her family and friends. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband of 58 years. Laverne never met a stranger and had a gift for conversation. She did not like confrontation and often found herself trying to keep the peace. She was lovingly nicknamed "The Peacemaker" of the family.
The most important thing in her life was her love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She loved and adored her church family. She was a devout member of Northside Church of Christ in Beebe. She was the heart of her family, and she was so intricately woven into all aspects of their life. If there was a family function or activity, you could count on her to always be there.
She is survived by son, Lonnie (Shirley) Cagle; daughters, Karen Cagle, Kimberley (Howard) Benton and Gina (Jeff) Elder; 7 grandchildren, Cody (Chloe) Cagle, Jordan (Maddie) Cagle, Kaylynn (Adel Mohammad) Parrott, Kendra (Steven) James, Lexie Hankins, Jaxson Benton and last but not least her Pride and Joy Reagan Cross Snodgrass. 9 great grandchildren; Bryson and Parker Hankins, Asher, Ally and Savannah James, Frankie and Cole Cagle, and StellaJo Frances arriving November 2024. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews whom she lovingly referred to as her kids. She had the biggest heart and loved her family unconditionally. We are blessed to call her ours.
She is preceded in death by her parents. Her loving husband of 58 years, Lynn B Cagle. 4 brothers, Athel, Leon, Buddy and Johnny Crossman; 4 sisters, Audrey Boyce, Hazel Weathers, Evelyn Turner and Jean Steffy.
