FRANCIS HERBERT CASE
Francis H. Case age, 72 of Valley, Washington, Formerly from the East Springfield, PA area, died Sunday Afternoon, January 12, 1997 at his Son's Home in East Springfield, PA.
Mr. Case was born in Erie, Pennsylvania on June 9, 1925, the son of the late Frank M. and Bessie M. (Borland) Case.
Mr. Case retired as an Independent Owner/Operator Trucker after 36 years in the Trucking Business. He was a member of the East Springfield Federated Church. Mr. Case had served with the U.S. Naval Coast Guard during w.w.2, and enjoyed traveling in his motor home especially in his later years. He also enjoyed fishing, boating, and golf.
Mr. Case is survived by 8 Children and 6 Step-Children:
Barbara Case Snyder of Valley, Washington, George Case of Bryon, Illinois, Frank Case of East Springfield, PA, Ray Case, Pat Case and Arthur Case all of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Mike Case of
Portsmouth, Virginia, and Theresa Case Renfrow of Harlen, Indiana, and Lyda Fowler of West Springfield, PA, Gussie DoNofrio of Clearwater, Florida, James Curlowicz of San Bernadino, Calif., George Curlowicz of Albion, PA, Judy Jones of Albion, PA and Karen Leclair of Albion, PA
He was also survived by a Sister: Lorena Faught of Aguanga,
Calif. and 2 Brothers: Jack Case of Girard, PA and Melvin Case of East Springfield, PA
He is also survived by Many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and several step Grandchildren.
Besides his parents, Mr. Case was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys (Hanson) Case whom he married on August 20, 1971. She passed away on July 9, 1990. and a Brother: Archie Case.
Friends are invited to call at the JEAN EVANS THOMPSON FUNERAL HOME 11883 Main Street, East Springfield, PA on Tuesday, January 14, 1997 from from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to attend Funeral Services at the Funeral Home on Wednesday Afternoon, January 15, 1997 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Marvin Davis of the Federated Church, Officiating. Burial will be in Springfield Cemetery, East Springfield, PA
