Frances M. Cook

Frances M. Cook, age 85, of Wesleyville, passed away Friday, December 15, 2023. She was born in Spartansburg, SC on April 24, 1938, daughter of the late Tincy Calvert and James Calvert. She resided in Erie since 1960.

Frances was a Supervisor at Bliley Electric Co until her retirement in 1975. She enjoyed doing crafts, being a homemaker and gardening. She treasured raising and loving her children and grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl "Cookie" Cook. She is survived by three children, Cathy Bixby of Erie, Russ A. Cook and Carl C. Cook (Donna) of Goldsboro, NC; and three grandchildren, Alyssa Bixby and Cameron and Adam Cook.

Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate (Proverbs 31:31). We thank you, Mom, for doing God's work in the love you provided your husband, children and grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Dusckas Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2607 Buffalo Rd., on Sunday from 4 to 7 pm and are invited to attend a Funeral Service there on Monday at 11 am. Interment will follow at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
