Frances Marie Cuzick, a beacon of generosity and unwavering faith, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025, in Richmond, Kentucky. Born on February 23, 1944, in Rockcastle County, Kentucky, Frances's life was a testament to her enduring faith and her commitment to her family and the Lord.
Frances was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Preston and Pearl Martin Anderkin, her stepmother, Gertrude Anderkin, her cherished husband, David Cuzick, and her siblings, Patty Roy, Wanda Prater, Dorothy Olsovski, Gladys Gill, and Loretta Smith. Her legacy continues through her devoted children, Anthony (Lana) Hamblen and Crystal (Shane) Whittemore, her one-of-a-kind brother, Frankie (Arlene) Anderkin, her cherished sister, Peggy (Bobby) Mason, and her adored grandchildren, Zachary and Nicholas Hamblen, Madison, and Lillian Whittemore. Frances also leaves behind her special niece, Cheryl Richardson, who held a unique place in her heart.
Frances's working life was marked by an impressive 40-year tenure at the Parker Seal O Ring Company, where she was not only a dedicated employee but also a dear friend to many. Her work ethic and steadfast commitment for over forty years were unparalleled, leaving a lasting impact on the company and its legacy.
A devout Christian, Frances was a longtime member of Pilot Knob Baptist Church. Her faith in Jesus was the cornerstone of her life, and she loved her church community deeply. Frances's servanthood extended beyond the walls of the church, as she was deeply committed to helping those less fortunate in any way she could.
Those who knew Frances will remember her for her generous nature and gorgeous smile. She never hesitated to extend a helping hand or a listening ear to those in need. Her kindness and selflessness were evident in every aspect of her life, from her personal relationships to her vast charitable giving to numerous organizations.
Frances's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to her special friends, Loretta Fitzgerald, Jessica Cain, Jackie Walling, and Shirley Lowe, for the exceptional compassion they provided. Their dedication to Frances's well-being in her final year was a source of great comfort to her and her family.
Funeral services will be 1 PM, Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at Lakes Funeral Home with Pastors Greg Lakes and Ken Felty officiating. Burial will follow in the Madison County Memorial Gardens.
