Frances Lenora Dillon of Chester went to be with her savior and her beloved animals on Saturday, March 19, 2022. She was 80 years old, and she passed at the Stone Pear Pavilion in Chester. She was born at home in West Union, Doddridge County West Virginia on February 11, 1942. Frances was the fourth of six children born to Harry Wallace and Armatha Jane Lemasters Dillon.
She was raised in the Nazarene faith and remained dedicated to Christ he entire life. Frances was a 1962 graduate of New Cumberland High School, and over the years attended Northern Community College for computer programing and various other courses.

Frances retired from Weirton Steel as an inspector in the strip after 27 years of service.

She loved working with her animals and would often go to help hurt animals with her many friends as well as strangers. Along with her parents, her brother, Edgar Lee Dillon preceded her in death.
Surviving is her brothers, Drexel Leon (Shelba) Dillon of Pennsylvania, Argyle Leroy Dillon of Ohio, Marvin Bruce (Diane) Dillon of West Virginia, and her sister, Harriett Jane (Richard) Chambers of Alabama. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews as well as her longtime friend and caregiver, Eileen Collins.
