Frances Carol Dipzinski, 79 of Gaylord, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Aspen Ridge. Born on July 9, 1944, in Detroit, she was the daughter of John and Julia Erjavac (Stajniger).

Frances grew up in Harper Woods, MI, where she attended St. Jude Grade School and was a graduate of Regina High School and then became a beautician. She then met the love of her life Bob, and they were married July 2, 1966. She enjoyed volunteering at her children’s school, art, baking and making quilts and afghans. She loved spending time with family and summers in the Keweenaw and Gaylord.

She was a parishioner at St. Mary Cathedral after moving to Gaylord. In later years, she lived at Aspen Ridge where many of the residents and caretakers became good friends. She enjoyed bingo, crafts, and welcoming all of the new residents.

She is survived by two sons, Robert of Gaylord and John of Rochester Hills; her daughter, Carol (Lloyd) Spear of Oxford; grandchildren, Brody, Megan and Rowan; sisters, Diana, Lynn, and Sharon and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob; and her parents, John and Julia Erjavac.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 AM Friday, April 12, 2024, at St. Mary Cathedral, where the family will visit with friends beginning at 9:00 AM. A luncheon will follow in the parish hall. In lieu of flowers, those who wish are asked to consider memorial contributions to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
