Frances Bernice Donegan, 92 years of age, of Dickson, TN, passed away July 16, 2023, at NHC of Dickson.
Bernice was born September 29, 1930, in Humphreys County, TN, to the late Albert and Ada E. Chappell.
Bernice loved flower gardening and going to church, being a member of Fairview Baptist Church for almost 50 years. She loved being a homemaker. She was very loving, caring and always willing to help someone.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Billy C. Donegan; brothers, Clyde, Coy, Glen, Hugh, Wade, and Cecil Chappell; and three sisters, Pearl Jackson, Macel Jackson, and Ida Sterling. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Billy W. Donegan; daughter, Cheryl Teston; grandson, Christopher Teston; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be Friday, July 21, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.; and will resume on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the Chapel of Dickson Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Norman Edwards officiating. Interment will follow in Dickson County Memorial Gardens.
