Frances Roberta, a very talented and gifted soul, was brought to flesh on May 19, 1929 in Springfield, TN. She was the sixth child out of eight children born to Florence R. (Head) Hockett and Linus Hockett. On Sunday, August 25, 2024, she transitioned to rest and peace with close family members by her side. 

Frances attended Robertson County schools and accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. In 1958, Frances married Charlie Worthy. Through this union they had one daughter, Robin. They also opened their home to many family members. Frances was a homemaker that was given a gift to make things with her hands. She had a passion for crochet and cooking. Frances loved her flowers and would spend countless hours outside enjoying their beauty. 

Frances was predeceased by her husband of 49+ years, Charlie Worthy, her parents Florence and Linus Hockett, Sisters Willie Bell Frey and Anna Laura Collins, Brothers Linus Hockett Jr., Henry Hockett, Lylie Hockett, and Billy Hockett.

Frances leaves to cherish her precious memories a loving and devoted daughter, Robin R. Britt, Granddaughters and caregivers, Portia J. (Steven) Musselwhite and Kamryn J. Haynes, a grandson, Devon J. Haynes, and a great-granddaughter, Athena, all of St. Louis, MO. A lifelong sister and best friend, Sadie E. Hines of Clarksville, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
