Latrice Nicole, daughter to Tommy Lee Dodson, Sr., and Lavorn Logan Dodson, began her earthly journey on Wednesday, June 27, 1979 in Little Rock, AR. Her parents and sister-in-law, Latoya Dodson preceded her in death.

She was a devoted servant, leader, and light in her family, church, and community. As a Past Worthy Matron of Naomi #6, Order of the Eastern Star (PHA), in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, she led with grace, compassion, and unwavering commitment. She also faithfully served as the Past Guardian of the Diamond Chamber #6, mentoring and guiding young people with love and purpose.

A faithful member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church, Latrice served in the Mass Choir and on the Culinary Arts Team, joyfully using her gifts to serve God and others.

Latrice was deeply committed to her community, serving as a crossing guard for Kenwood and Ringgold Elementary Schools and was also well known throughout the Clarksville area as an exceptional server and waitress who made everyone feel welcomed and valued. She attended Hopkinsville Community College in pursuit of a nursing degree, reflecting her heart for care and service.

Above all, Latrice was a proud and devoted sports mom, faithfully supporting her daughter, Ella, in every sport in which she participated. Known as the life of the party, Latrice lived boldly and unapologetically--often wearing her FAVORITE COLOR PURPLE--dancing as if nobody was watching and bringing joy to the lives of others.

Her legacy of faith, service, love, and joy will forever live on.

“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” ~ Matthew 5:16 (NIV)

Latrice leaves to cherish her memories her loving daughter, Ella Renea Anne Dodson; her brothers: Tommy (Jazmine) Dodson, Clarksville, TN, Alex Dodson, Baton Rouge, LA, Elmo (Kira) Jenkins III, Clarksville, TN, Dennis (Kanesha) Jenkins, Benoit, MS; sister, Sandra Faye Jenkins, Greenville, MS; sister-in-law, Shameka Patton, Guthrie, KY and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
