Frances L. Krivda, age 95, of Orange, entered into eternal rest on August 15, 2023 at St. Raphael Hospital. She was the devoted wife to the late William Krivda. She was born in Shelton, on June 6, 1928, daughter of the late John and Nellie (Zaprzaka) Iwaniec. Frances was an office employee for Sponge Rubber. She was a member of the Holy Infant Ladies Guild, and possessed extraordinary investment acumen, which may well have exceeded her homemaker success, a talent concealed by her humility. Frances is survived by her son William J. Krivda and his wife Phyllis, daughter Nancy Jansen, four grandchildren, Aren Jansen (Sunny), Leif Jansen(Jennifer), Catherine Krivda (Gregory John Conners), and Peter Krivda, and her four great-grandchildren, Peyton Jansen, Kennedy Jansen, Eleanor Jansen, and Grady Fusco. She was predeceased by her brother Edward Iwaniec and sisters Lillian Zyck, Genevieve Pricenor, Helen Budzinski, and Mary Witkowski. Friends are invited to meet at St. Michael Church, Derby, on Saturday, August 26 for Frances' Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Ansonia.
