Frances Rejane Leeming

Frances Rejane Leeming (Rattey) - 86 - formerly of Pawtucket, RI passed away on November 7, 2025. Daughter of the late Wilfred and Rejane Rattey, was born on April 22, 1939. Fran resided in Chepachet, RI for most of her life. She graduated from Pawtucket West High School and attended the Rhode Island School of Design. Fran enjoyed traveling, reading, movies, her lakefront house, the beach, and she especially enjoyed her years in the Antique Business. She enjoyed reminiscing about her travel days and the diverse cultures and treasures she would find along the way. Fran was predeceased by her sisters Janet Surrette & Claire Fitzgerald. She is survived by her sister Elaine Sokol of NY and Bill Rattey of the Turks and Caicos Islands. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Fran felt blessed to have Terri and John Holmes and Dale Gardner caring for her until the very end. Thank you to the staff at Overlook Nursing Facility, and Rebecca of Continuum Care (Fran's hospice nurse) for all the wonderful care given to her. In 2016, Fran arranged for her body to be donated to Brown University. There will be no services.
