Frances Christine Lofton, 87, of Mooreville, Mississippi passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Rosewood Assisted Living. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 15, 2025, at Jordan Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m., at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Neal Ramage will officiate the service.
Frances was born May 17, 1938, in Attala County, Mississippi to her parents, Chester Brown and Gladys Pearson Brown. She was a member of Lighthouse Assembly of God in Saltillo, Mississippi. Frances assisted her husband, Roy, with their business, Lofton Janitorial Service. She loved to collect China dolls.
Frances is survived by her daughters, Christine (Neal) Ramage of Mooreville, Mississippi and Melissa Thies of Nettleton, Mississippi; sisters, Gayla Moss of Kosciusko and Debbie Victoria of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Christy, Ramage Smith, Misty Ramage Moore, Skye Cavalier, and River Hammock; and great-grandchildren, Sterling Smith, Bradley Moore, Caitlyn Moore, Serenity Hammock, Brice Cavalier, and Ryder Hammock.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester Brown and Gladys Brown Frazier and her husband, Rev. Roy Lofton.
