Frances Moore Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Samuel J. Jones Funeral Home on Nov. 28, 2025.
It always starts with the little things, whether if it was making someone laugh, giving a hot meal, playing spades or bid whist or hosting family and friends Frances Moore embodied that saying to heart. She always welcomed any guest into her home for shelter. Her surviving children (Stephanie Moore and Theresa Lane), would say, the door was forever revolving. But her little things didn't stop there. She was also a loving grandmother. The grandmother who always had a little something sweet for her grandbabies. Which included after school trips to downtown Pittsburgh to Candy Rama. She never let anything keep her down from sharing her love, not even her cane. She never gave it the chance to hit the ground. France's was a bold women, who showed all of her colors. She was never afraid to paint her canvas even in hard times when the water wasn't clear enough to wash her brushes. I would normally say, she will be missed, but her spirit is ever lasting. She shared so much love that it will be past on for generations. She is the embodiment of "the little things".
