Obituary of Frances Lee Motto
Frances Lee Motto passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at the age of 73. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Imogene Andrews, and her husband, Larry Motto. Left to cherish Frances' memory are her sons, Andrew Motto and wife Jessica, Kevin Motto, Brian Motto and wife Amanda; brothers, Robert Andrews Jr and wife Vickie, Michael Andrews; grandchildren, Joel Motto and Eliana Motto; and a host of many other family and friends.
Frances was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and met her husband of 39 years, Larry, there. They lived in New Orleans for several years before moving to Pearland in 1977. Frances and Larry stayed in Pearland for five years, before moving back to New Orleans. They would eventually settle in Pearland, where they would stay for the rest of their days.
Frances was active in the Mother's club associated with Pearland Little League/Dad's Club, as well as active with all her boys' baseball programs. In Texas, Frances became a licensed day care operator and kept kids in her home for many years starting in 1990. She truly loved caring for children. Frances also loved Bon Jovi and was an active member of his fan club. She attended so many Bon Jovi concerts that she lost count over the years. Above all else, Frances loved her family dearly, and enjoyed any opportunity to spend time with them, especially for the holidays. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services for Frances will be held at Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland. Visitation will take place from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, March 3, 2025, with the service taking place on the following day, Tuesday, March 4, 2025, commencing at 10:00 am. Interment will follow the service at Houston National Cemetery.
