Frances Ann Netting

Frances A. (Fran) Netting, 79, of Columbus, passed peacefully on Friday, November 8, 2024. She was born July 11, 1945, in Columbus to Richard and Elizabeth (Johnson) Netting, who preceded her in death. Fran is survived by her nieces Lori (Todd) Tenaglia of Waynesfield, Ohio, Nicki (Matt) Kruger of South Lyon, Michigan, and nephew Jeremy (Kristen) Netting of Centerburg, Ohio. She also had several great-nieces and great-nephews, Joshua Tenaglia, Grant Kruger, Grace Kruger, Chase Netting, Carter Netting, Corbin Netting, Conley Netting, Campbell Netting, and Cael Netting. Fran was also preceded in death by her beloved brother and sister-in-law, Chuck and Linda Netting. Fran was a graduate of Worthington High School and the Ohio State University. She had a long career in public service with the State of Ohio and was involved in state politics throughout her adult life. Fran loved spending time with family and friends, and all who knew her will miss her dearly. She loved animals and was extremely charitable. Her family will hold a remembrance of life service at Blendon Central Cemetery, where she will be interred with Rev. Todd Tenaglia officiating.
