Frances G. Pake, age 96, passed away peacefully under hospice care on October 15, 2023. She was born on Sept. 14, 1927 in Akron to the late John and Mary Glasener.
Frances was an outdoor enthusiast; she loved camping, hiking, bird watching, horseback riding and was an active Girl Scouts instructor. She was a voracious reader and life chronicler.
Preceded in death by her husband, Frank and sister, Madeline (Lenny) Comunale; she is survived by her daughter, Dolores Pake; nephews, Brian (Ann) Comunale and John (Molly) Comunale.
There a will be an outdoor Celebration of Life in the spring.
