Frances S. Rowe, 95, of Kingston, NY, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at home. She was born on May 15, 1928 in Hurley, NY, daughter of the late Francis and Margaret (Howard) Stauble. She was married to the late Ernest M. Rowe, Jr. They wed in 1950 and Ernest passed away in 2005. Frances was a member of Binnewater Chapel.
Frances is survived by her daughters, Diane Houghton, Suzanne North, Luanne Simon and her husband Steve, Peggyann VonWerder and her husband Ronald, Bethann Dinga and her husband Allen, Maryann Grey and her husband Jonathan, and Joanne Miller and her husband Ray, Frances’ siblings, Catherine McGahan, Margaret Mearns, Paul Stauble, Tommy Stauble and Patty Hall. Frances has 27 grandchildren, Ted, Shannon, Adam, Jesi, Seth, Duane, Ben, Christa, Bethany, Justin, Brian, Austin, Andrew, Frank, Allen, Emily, Suzanne, Michael, Molly, Zachary, Joshua, Nathan, Corinne, Marissa, Jacob, Megan, and Jayla, as well as many great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Frances is predeceased by her son, Chip Rowe and his wife Susan, her sons-in-law, Ted Houghton and Duane North, Frances’ siblings, Howard Stauble, Charles Stauble, and Marianne Havens.
Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm and on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 from 10am to 11am with the funeral service taking place at 11am. A graveside service will follow in Mt. Marion Cemetery, Mt. Marion, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse at www.samaritanspurse.org or BRAVO/Pregnancy Support Center, 432 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401. A tribute for Frances can be found at www.KeyserFuneralService.com, where you may leave memories and expressions of sympathy for her family.
