Frances Solis Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sterling & Smith Funeral Directors, Inc. - Fresno on Dec. 4, 2025.
Frances Solis was born in Fresno, California, on January 22nd, 1954. She was raised in Mendota, California, by her Mother and Father, Nicolas Solis and Frances Arviso Solis; together they had six children. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gilbert "QT" Solis; Nicolas Solis Jr., Jesus "Night owl" Solis, her sister, Emilia "Mila" Solis, and her great-grandson, Ezekiel "EZ" Castillo. She was survived by her sister, Dolores "Lola" Aguilar, her four children, Gilbert Solis, Lori Castillo, Angel Reyes, Danielle "Chiquita" Solis, her twenty grandchildren, and twenty-six great-grandchildren. Pancha enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, along with joking, laughing, and was most of all known for her love of dancing. Man, did she love to dance. She was a very loving person who helped everyone she could. She was sassy and very outspoken; however, she would still do whatever you needed. Our mom was a resilient woman who left a lasting impact on those whose lives she touched. She showed a deep love and commitment to family and always sought to help those in need. Although she could be tough and challenging at times, her heart was always in the right place. We loved her deeply, and she will always be missed and remembered. The one thing our mom was the most proud of and bragged about every chance she had were her pride and joys, her grandchildren, QB, Destinee, Jazmin, Peaches, Miraklez, Azelia, U'Neke, Heaven, Saniya, Hunnie, Eddie, Samantha, Gabriel, Amanda, Abrina, Joe, Infinti, Isahiah, Princess and Love, along with her great-granchildren, Ezekiel, Mason, Brielle, Titus, Xavier, Elijah, Madelynn, Papas, EZ, Elianna, Julian, Olivia, Bear, Kiko, Cheeky, Joseph, Aiden, Adrina, Aubree, Jonathonn, Josiah, Joe Jr., Jodi, Isahiah Jr., Treasure, and Legend. Being the amazing woman she was, she found time to spend with each and every one of them. We find comfort in knowing Frances has been welcomed into the arms of the Lord, reunited with those who went before her. Her faith, compassion, and unwavering love will continue to shine through her family for generations to come. Until we meet again, we hold her memory close and trust in God's promise of eternal life.
