Frances Suber Obituary
Mother Suber was born on August 3, 1925, in Asheville, NC to the late Harrison and Frances Brooks. She was a hard worker and a business owner. She loved to dress up and look nice. Mother Suber also loved solving puzzles and thrift shopping. She loved her family and was loved by her family very much and will be missed dearly.
Mother Suber was a member of Living Waters Christian Ministries. There she participated with the Golden Girls and the Mother's Ministry. She loved God, the Bible and the hymns of the church.
Mother Suber leaves to cherish her memory her son, James Briggs (Yvonne) of Asheville, NC; daughters, Betty Wilson of Durham, NC and Bishop Carolyn Briggs of Shelby, NC; granddaughter, Lisa Wilson Killian (Donnie) of Durham, NC; three great-grandchildren, Dionna Mickle (Alex), Brianna Pearson and Allexus Killian all of Durham, NC; several nieces, nephews and special friend, Barbara Hunter.
Visitation will be from 11:00-11:30am Saturday, September 14, 2024 in the chapel of Ray Funeral & Cremation Service. Funeral service will be 11:30am Saturday, Spetember 14, 2024 also in the chapel. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
