Frances "Bunny" Towne ObituaryDERBY – Frances M. "Bunny" Towne, age 73 of Derby, beloved wife of David Towne, entered peaceful rest on Sunday, March 23, 2025 in Griffin Hospital with family by her side. Born in Bridgeport on July 6, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Edith (Patrick) Coterwas.
Bunny had a zest for life and enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and especially loved being around children. She loved dancing, listening to Toby Keith, Rolling Stones, and The Beatles, as well as going out to eat with David and cruising in their Oldsmobile convertible 442.
In addition to her husband David, survivors include her children, Tim Crofoot and his wife Victoria of CO, Warren "Skip" Crofoot and his wife Melissa of Seymour, and Leanna Kross and her husband Chris of CO; siblings, Frank Coterwas and his wife Linda, and Linda Hultgren and her husband Raymond of Ansonia; 6 cherished grandchildren and 4 adored great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 12:30pm in the Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St. Seymour, CT 06483. Interment will follow in Mt. Meadows Cemetery, Seymour.
