Frances "Fran" Rose Vince, 88, of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully at the Gardens of St. Francis, where she was a longtime resident. Frances was born in Toledo, Ohio to Edward and Rosella (Mausser) Currier on May 31, 1937.

Born with a natural talent and love for working with her hands, Fran spent many years perfecting her seamstress skills. She worked at the Haas Jordan Company in Toledo from 1968 until her retirement in 2000, creating high-quality work and forming lifelong friendships along the way. Even while employed there, she also worked at Advanced Cleaning for 20 years, a testament to her incredible work ethic and dedication. She continued working well into her late 70s.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Fran was most proud of her role as a grandmother. She lovingly sewed Halloween costumes for her grandchildren, each one crafted with joy and attention to detail. Her kitchen was always full of the comforting smells of baked goods and home-cooked meals, and her garden bloomed with the same care and nurturing spirit she gave to everyone around her.

Fran's warmth, creativity, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Claudia Loveday, Barb (Kenny) Tucker, Tim Vince, and Tammie (Russ) Cortez; daughter-in-law, Robin Vince. 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; several brothers and sisters.

Fran was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Vince; son, Bobby Vince; and grandson, Christopher Vince.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd. (east of I-280), from 4:00 until the time of memorial services at 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the Garden's of St. Francis.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the dedicated staff at The Gardens of St. Francis for the loving and compassionate care shown to their beloved mother during her many years as a resident. Your kindness, patience, and faith-filled service were a blessing to her and a comfort to our entire family.
