Frances Yosten passed peacefully from this earth on Thursday March 2, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. Funeral mass will be held Monday March 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Muenster, Texas. A rosary was held at 5:00 p.m. March 5, 2023 at the church followed by family visitation at the Sacred Heart Community Center.
Frances was born October 6, 1926 in Lindsay, Texas. The youngest child of John and Christina Bengfort. She grew up on the family farm in Lindsay. Like most children of that generation, she worked hard, but enjoyed her childhood. She attended Lindsay public school and graduated in 1945. She married Werner John Yosten in Lindsay on September 10, 1946. Together they had nine children, all boys, and eventually settled in Muenster.
Frances was a devoted mother and spent a lifetime taking care of her boys, and her entire family. Anyone who knew Francis knew she was a treasure to this world. She was a devout Catholic, and lived out her faith by loving deeply, forgiving immediately, and helping family and friends in any way she could. She can never be replaced and will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband Werner, sons Jerry, Kenneth, Mark, and one granddaughter.
She is survived by her sons Daniel and Patricia Jo Yosten of Poland, Ohio, Steven and Janice, Christopher, and Ronald Yosten of Muenster, daughter in law Danette Yosten of Wylie, Tx. James and Susan Yosten of Muenster, Joseph and Michelle Yosten of Sanger, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
