D'ANGELO, Francesca"Frances" (nee Grammatico). August 15, 2025. Age 90. Beloved wife of the late Lorenzo (John) D'Angelo. Loving mother of John (Shelly) D'Angelo, Anthony (Gloria) D'Angelo, the late Cathy D'Angelo and the late Angela D'Angelo. Adored nonna of Nina, John (Gabriella), Alyssa, Oliva and the late Angela. Dear sister of Domenica (the late Antonio) Sciacca, Frank (Stella) Grammatico, Leona (Armando) Ceccucci and the late Antoinette (the late Rocco) Moceri. Predeceased by her parents Giovanni and Caterina Grammatico.
Francesca came to Canada from Sicily when she was I5 years old. She came by boat with her mom and four sibling. Her father had come over first to set up a life for them. She met her true love when she was 16. She married at I7 years old. Frances and John had 4 children and were married for 51 years.
For many years, Frances and her husband John sold Christmas trees and flowers. She loved to knit, bowl, cook and was a top Avon salesperson. Most of all she loved her children and grandchildren. She will be dearly missed
Visitation Sunday 3-8 pm with a 6pm Scripture Service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc. 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway(16 Mile). Instate Monday 9:30am until the time of the 10am Mass at St Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families, 25320 Van Dyke Center Line, Michigan 48015. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
