Francesca Salinas
June 15, 1985 – July 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Francesca Salinas, a beloved daughter, sister, niece, granddaughter, loyal friend, and proud veteran. Francesca passed away leaving behind a legacy of strength, service, and unwavering love.
Francesca proudly enlisted in the United States Army on January 16, 2008. Her military service wasn't just a career-it was her passion. She served with honor and dedication, rising to the rank of Sergeant before retiring on February 19, 2017. Her discipline, courage, and commitment to her fellow soldiers remained at the heart of who she was.
Off the field, Francesca lived life with intensity and heart. She found freedom in the open road riding her motorcycle, and unconditional love in her cherished dogs-Captain, Rex, and Ranger. To Francesca, her dogs were more than companions-they were family and her constant source of comfort and joy.
Francesca's warmth extended far beyond her immediate family. She was widely known and deeply loved by her many friends, who often described her as the kind of person who treated them like family. Her loyalty, generosity, and ability to show up for others made her incredibly popular and unforgettable. She built strong bonds that lasted a lifetime, always lifting others up with her fierce support, humor, and honesty.
Francesca is preceded in death by her grandmother, Maria Serrano.
She is survived by her devoted mother, Nabiot Scott; her loving siblings, Mariela Salinas and Armando Salinas; her caring uncles, Roger Garcia and Eduardo Serrano; her aunt, Claudia Garcia.
Francesca's spirit lives on-in the wind she loved to ride through, in the loyalty of her dogs, and in the hearts of her family, her friends, and the many lives she touched.
