Francha Gardella Obituary
Torrington – Francha Gardella, 85, passed away unexpectedly on December 5, 2025.
She was the wife of Robert Gardella and the mother of Laurie Gardella and the late Robert Gardella, Jr. and grandmother to Marena Gardella.
She is predeceased by her sister Ann Giddings VanValkenburgh and brother David Giddings. She was sister to Larry Giddings, Danny Rosa, Janet Rosa Rizzo, and Debbie Rosa Mordino. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
She was a longtime Torrington, CT resident, where she had owned and operated Francha's Cafe with her son.
Funeral services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Litchfield, CT.
