Francis A. "Cuda" Baro 75, of Franklin, passed away peacefully at home, with his daughter Michelle by his side, Tuesday December 10th 2024, following an illness. He was the husband of the late Deborah M. "Debbie" (Arcaro) Baro.
Born on October 28th, 1949 in Franklin, Mass, Cuda was the son of Donald and Virginia Baro.
Cuda was born in Franklin a lifelong resident. Cuda was a graduate of Franklin high School in 1967. Where he played sports, joined the chorus choir and was on the yearbook staff. It was here where Cuda made friends who became lifelong friends and family.
Cuda had a great personality with a beautiful smile. He truly had a zest for life. He was a bit cheeky at times. He loved a good joke and could be mischievous.
Cuda loved his sports teams. An avid Patriot and Bruins fan. (Back in the day, a New York Giants fan, but we won't go there) But his love and passion was fishing and hunting. Cuda had traveled far and wide over the years with his buddies, to enjoy and catch the big fish or the big buck or bear. It's what he loved to do most. On any given weekend he'd be off with the guys on some sort of adventure. Whether it was in the woods or on the ocean.
Cuda and his friends spent a lot of time up at Uncle Georgie's cabin, in Peru Mass. It was a gathering camp where they could go hunt and unwind. Let's face it AND to have a wild ole time!
Cuda's other passion was in the kitchen. He could whip up a mean Italian meal that was to die for.
Cuda is survived by his sister Karen Gasbarro of Maine, daughter Sheri and her husband Mark of Auburn, his daughter Michelle and husband AJ of Franklin, his son Brandon Dickens of Franklin and his stepson Bobby and his companion Beth both of Franklin. His Goddaughter/niece Wendy and her husband Dan from Connecticut. His nephew and niece, Lou and Amy Gasbarro of Maine. His grandchildren Richard John Molloy III of Franklin, Joseph Revell of Springfield and Jackie Dewire of Auburn. Cuda also has eight great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and cousins. Who he simply adored.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours in the Charles F Oteri and son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage Street. Saturday, December 21st from 1:00 to 4:00.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 25th from 12:00 to 3:00 at the Rome Restaurant in Franklin Mass.
All are welcome to attend.
