Frank was the beloved husband of Joan (nee Bruggeman) devoted father of Kevin, David (Lisa), and Ryan Bernardo, dear brother of Betty Remmig and Lawrence Bernardo. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Ashley, Alex, and Austin.
Visitation Tuesday 4-7 pm at the Frech McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont. Entombment will be private. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's name to the Dumont Volunteer Ambulance Corps or E.T. Marlatt Chapter of the National Honor Society at Hackensack High School donations can be sent to HHS First and Beech Streets Hackensack, NJ 0760 c/o Mr. Joseph Brunacki.

Mr. Bernardo, may you RIP. You were one of my favorite teachers in HS. I took honors chemistry with you and your sense of humor was unmatched. You made chemistry fun, as weird as that may sound, and our group always looked forward to your class. Your legacy will live within each one of us that you taught. RIP
