Frank died peacefully in Scottsdale, AZ on Friday, November 21st, 2025. He was born October 17th, 1949 in Newark, NJ and raised in Nutley, NJ. He was the fourth of thirteen children with seven sisters (Pat, Anne Marie, Theresa, Marie, Joan, Ellen, and Dorothy) and five brothers (Bob, Mark, Joe, John, and Matt).
After graduating from Essex Catholic High School in Newark, he earned a B.S. from Villanova University and an M.B.A. from Rutgers University Graduate School of Business. He held various management and underwriting positions at insurance and reinsurance companies on the East Coast, Midwest, and Bermuda. He served on the Board of Directors and was President of the Intermediaries and Reinsurance Underwriters Association (IRUA). Among his interests was the St Baldrick's Foundation, a charitable group that raises money for children's cancer research through their head shaving events. Frank had his head shaved every year since 2005 when he introduced St Baldrick's to the state of Iowa. Over the years, thanks to many generous friends, relatives, and business associates, he raised millions of dollars for St Baldrick's Foundation.
Frank is survived by his wife, Nancy; they married in 1974. He is also survived by their son, David, his wife Mollie and their three children: Maddie, James, and Frankie. Also surviving is their daughter, Sarah, her husband Brent and their two children: Harrison and Marion. In addition, he is survived by all twelve of his siblings, plus over twenty nieces and nephews and several grand nieces and nephews.
At his request, there will be no services. Frank would prefer that you spend a day with family and friends doing whatever makes you happy. If you play golf, imagine him playing with you, say nice things about him, and give him plenty of strokes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his name to St Baldrick's Foundation. Visit Frank's page here.
