Francis Bonaventura Obituary

Francis was born on January 21, 1948 in Steubenville, OH. He was the son of the late William Bonaventura and Virginia (Falbo) Bonaventura.
Francis was a Computer Programmer at Weirton Steel Corp. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Follansbee. Many will remember Francis for his love of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates always watching the Superbowl.
In addition to his parents, Francis was preceded in death by his sister, Margaret Ann Bonaventura.
Francis is survived by his two children, Kelli Miller and her husband, Dean of Wellsburg, WV and Matt Bonaventura and his wife, Rose of Florida, a grandson, Cameron Miller, a longtime companion, Mary Jo (Fulciniti) Bonaventura, and furry companion, Mickey.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 17, 2025 from 3:00-7:00 PM and again on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 9:00 AM until time of Liturgy of the Word at 10:00 AM at the Chambers Funeral Home, Wellsburg, WV (304)737-3551 with Father Justin Golna, presiding.
Entombment will follow at Kadesh Chapel Cemetery, Beech Bottom, WV.
