Francis "Jake" John Bradac, age 94, of Osceola, WI passed away Friday, March 22, 2024 at his home at Eagle Ridge Senior Living in Osceola.
Jake was born on September 28, 1929 to parents, Frank and Catherine (Koschka) Bradac in New Prague, MN.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 72 years, Elizabeth "Betty" (Robertson). It's a poignant coincidence that Jake left us just a day before the anniversary of their first blind date, which took place on March 23, 1948. It's almost as if he didn't want to miss the chance to reunite with Betty in heaven and celebrate the event. Their two souls shared an unbreakable bond, and their love story is a beautiful testament to the lifetime of devotion and partnership.
Jake is survived by his children Joe, Mary (John), Therese (Gene), Ann (Allen), John (Lynne), Jim (Jeni), Jane (Bob), and Sara (Michael); 27 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Jake at 11:00 AM Monday, April 1, 2024 at Assumption Catholic Church in East Farmington. Visitation one hour prior. Burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in East Farmington, next to the church.
