Daniel Arthur Rivard

Daniel (Dan) Arthur Rivard, born July 25, 1973, passed away unexpectedly on December 6, 2025. Dan grew up in Taylors Falls, MN, where he made countless memories -- skiing with his dad, boating on the St. Croix River, getting into harmless mischief around town with his friends, and perfecting the art of teasing his younger sisters. He carried that same playful, witty, and unique sense of humor throughout his life, gifting silly nicknames to those he loved and filling the room with laughter. He loved aeronautics, comedians and movies, and was always eager to hear about a new grilling or cooking technique to try.
He is survived by his children, Elias and Amelia Rivard; parents Ross and Michele Rivard; and sisters Amanda (Ben) Witt and Caitlin (Charlie) Walton, as well as nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Wanda, sister, Lisa and grandparents Leland and Delores Rivard.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday January 3, 2026 at the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom with a visitation held one hour prior to the service. Interment will happen privately with family at a later date.
