Francis P. Coyle

Frank Coyle, 82, of Southampton, PA passed away on Monday May 5th 2025.
Born June 2nd 1942, Frank Coyle grew up in the Juniata neighborhood of Philadelphia. He attended Holy Innocents Elementary School and North Catholic High School before graduating from La Salle College with a degree in Accounting.
After proudly serving in the US Army Reserves in the mid-1960s, he managed accounting teams in a variety of industries before leaving the corporate rat race at the age of 56 to fulfill his dream of owning a guitar shop.
In 1998, Frank opened the doors of Coyle's Richboro Music, which he owned and operated with his son Kevin at his side until the fall of 2023.
In those 25 years, Coyle's held dozens of recitals, hosted clinics with world-famous guitarists like Greg Koch and Doyle Dykes, and even had Eddie Van Halen quietly stroll in one night to look around. But the true legacy of Frank's music store are the hundreds of Richboro-area youth whose lifelong relationship with music began in earnest at Coyle's.
Frank is survived by his loving wife Kathy with whom he shared their 57th wedding anniversary the day before his passing.
He is also survived by his sons Mike (Regina) and Kevin (Becky), his grandchildren Katie (Dom), Maria, Riley, and Rowan, and his great-grandson Nico whose little smile brightened up even his most challenging latter days.
Family was everything to Frank. He will be remembered by his many nieces and nephews whom he loved, and in passing he is reunited with his father William, his mother Anna, his sister Connie, his brother Bill, and his grandson Michael.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Good Counsel church in Southampton, PA at 11 AM on Friday, May 9th. A visitation will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel on May 9th from 10 AM to 11 AM, prior to the Funeral Mass.
