Francis J. Gladysz

FRANCIS "FRANK" "SONNY" J. GLADYSZ, 90, of Jackson Twp., NJ passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold, NJ. He was born in Perth Amboy, NJ, and resided in Elizabeth, NJ and Colonia, NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp. 49 years ago.
Frank was a proud United States Veteran serving in the Air Force during the Korean War earning the Good Conduct Medal.
He was employed in purchasing for Phelps Dodge Copper Products, Elizabeth, NJ for 37 years prior to his retirement in 1996.
Frank was a member of the Knights of Columbus #6201, Jackson Twp. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and horseshoes, but most of all loved spending time with his family.
Frank was predeceased by his parents, Martin and Mary Gladysz; his brothers, Steve Gladysz and Martin Gladysz; his sisters, Mary Wojciechowski, Margaret Oliver, Rose Clebock and Therese Gladysz; and by his son, Michael Gladysz. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary; his son, Frank Gladysz and his wife, Danielle of Robinsville, NJ; his daughters, Laura Gladysz of Jackson Twp., Linda Dolan of Spring Lake Heights, NJ, and Teri Lardin and her husband, Doug of Lake Como; his grandchildren, Bailey & Derrik Russell, Ryan and Brielle Gladysz, Kevin Dolan, Jennifer and Jake Connors, Eric and Lark Gladysz, Mary and Tom Lisowski, Kelly Dolan and Kenzi Lardin; his great-grand grandchildren, Holly, Michael, Luke, Madison, Benjamin, Vivienne, Claire, Lilly and Baker; and by his daughter-in-law, Tammie Cowit.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 8:30-9:30 AM on
Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson, NJ. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 10 AM at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson, NJ. A private cremation will follow.
