Francis J. Hee

Francis James Hee, age 76, of Marlton, NJ passed away peacefully on May 27, 2024.
Chip was born on March 3, 1948 to the late Catherine and Frank Hee in Southwest Philadelphia, PA. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy as a Commander in Submarines from 1965 to 1991. Chip was responsible for putting the crew together to refurbish a four star World War II submarine, the USS Becuna, which now rests in the Independence Seaport Museum in Penns Landing. He was one of the Proud few our country calls a "Mustang". Chip was the owner of Hee Insurance Company out of Mount Juliet, Tennessee. He was strong in his Catholic Christian Faith and guided his family to follow the Lord. He was a member of the Vesper Boat Club. In his free time he enjoyed reading, loved kids, and had a hidden talent for writing poetry. Most of all Chip had a deep love for all of the people in his life up until the end here on earth.
He was the Loving father of James John Hee, Patrick Christopher Hee and Mary Megan Hee; cherised grandfather of Brandon Hee, Mackenzie Hee, Conner Hee, Carleigh Hee and great grandfather of Everly DeLong; brother of Christine Hee, Irene Moore and the late Gregory Hee. Chip is also survived by Jackson and Emily Skinner, Jack and Ethan Sepela and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Chip's visitation on Monday, June 3, 2024 from 10AM-11AM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Memorial service to follow at 11AM.
