Cherished husband of Jeanine (née Luebke). Father of Lori (Lee) Waldman and Shelli Mathieu. Grandfather of Travis (McKenna) Waldman and Zach (Carly) Waldman. Proud Great-Grandfather of Wyatt Waldman. Brother of Gloria Neu. Brother-in-law of Mary Kay (Larry) Nielsen and James (April) Luebke. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.
Bugs was an EMT and Volunteer Fire Fighter for the Menomonee Falls Fire Department for many years, retiring as a Captain. He was also a proud Army Veteran.
He retired from the Village of Menomonee Falls as its Superintendent of Public Works in 2003 and moved to Eagle River Wisconsin.
For the last few years, he enjoyed life in the North Woods, fishing, tinkering in his garage, and doing yard work. He was also an active member of the local snowmobile club, the Sno Eagles.
In lieu of flowers, we request that donations be made in his name to Children's Hospital of Wisconsin at giving.childrenswi.org or maccfund.org
Both of these organizations played a crucial role in saving Wyatt's life just after he was born.
A Mass will be at 11am on Saturday March 29, 2025 at St. Bonafice Church, W204 N11940 Goldendale Rd. Germantown, WI 53022. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service. A memorial in Eagle River will be held at a later date.
