Francis H. "Frank" Resca

A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, August 15th at 1:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery's Columbarium for Francis H. "Frank" Resca who died on Sunday, August 4th at the Courtyard Nursing facility in Medford following a brief illness, he was 82 years old.
Frank was a lifelong Chelsea resident proudly raised and educated in Chelsea. He was an alumnus of Chelsea High School Class of 1960. He began a career with the United States Postal Service as a "Letter Carrier" which spanned over four decades. He happily remained in Chelsea delivering mail his entire career. Frank was married to his wife, Jan in 1990 and they remained in Chelsea, up until several years ago before moving to Malden. Frank enjoyed watching all sports but was an enthusiastic football fan on all levels. He would very often take in the high school games at Chelsea Stadium, never missed a Patriots game and also watched college football too. He lived a humble life and enjoyed his life very much. Frank had many friends that he made throughout his life and especially cherished his family, he will be greatly missed.
He is the beloved husband of 41 years to Janice M. "Jan" Moore of Malden, formerly of Chelsea. The devoted son of the late Frank L. Resca & Jessie (Zaremski) Resca. The cherished brother of Michael Resca and his wife Nancy all of Chelsea, Elaine Faithful and her husband Mark of Saugus and David Resca of St. Croix. Also lovingly survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
