Francis Robert "Frank" Sisk

Francis Robert "Frank" Sisk, 91, of Newbern, Tennessee, died on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at his residence in Newbern, Tennessee.
Born Thursday, August 16, 1934, in Bethel Springs, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Rufus Sisk and the late Eva Smith Sisk. He was a retired mechanical operator for Javan Cosmetics in Bensenville, Illinois.

Frank was a man whose joyful spirit and love for life shined brightly in all he did. He loved to sing and play his guitar, especially the old gospel hymns that brought him comfort and joy. His music was often shared with others, as he never met a stranger and greeted everyone with warmth and kindness. Frank enjoyed collecting eagle quarters and was always excited when he discovered a new one to add to his collection. He loved spending time outdoors and was especially fond of fishing. Many mornings were spent with a good cup of coffee in hand, enjoying conversation and the simple pleasure of being with those around him. Above all, Frank loved his family. His bond with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren was truly special-he cherished every moment spent with them, and they brought tremendous joy to his life.

Funeral services for Mr. Sisk will be at 11:30 AM on Saturday, December 13, 2025, in the Chapel of Johnson-Williams Funeral Home, with the Bro. Rick Isbell officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Newbern, Tennessee. Visitation for Mr. Sisk will be held from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Johnson-Williams Funeral Home.

He is survived by his son, Don Sisk (Sherry) of Dyersburg, Tennessee; daughters, Sheila Sweat (Jason) of Newbern, Tennessee, Barbie Fussell (Coty) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, Connie Ward (Justin) of Newbern, Tennessee, Teresa Griffin (Doug) of Dyersburg, Tennessee and Tonya Parham (Curt) of Dyersburg, Tennessee, brother, Jerry Sisk (Carolyn) of RoEllen, Tennessee; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda B. Sisk; daughter, Becky Shier; brothers, Robert Sisk and Elton Thomas Sisk, and sisters, Irma Whitt and Kathy Dale Sisk.

Honoring Mr. Sisk as pallbearers will be Jason Sweat, Sr., Justin Ward, Jason Sweat, Jr., Coty Fussell, Alex Price, Liam Ward, Don Sisk, and Chase Squint.
