Francis Maurice Smith, son of Hattie Bell Hartsfield Smith and the late Prince Leon Smith and was born June 2, 1959. He departed this world Friday, November 14, 2025, gaining his rest and returning to Yahuah. Francis was the third of seven children.
A man of humility, humor, and quiet strength, Francis lived his life with sincerity and authenticity. He enjoyed the simple things-good conversation, time with loved ones, and the familiar comforts of North Carolina living. His gentle spirit and steady presence made him a pillar to those around him.
He worked faithfully throughout his life and was known for his helping heart and willingness to give what he could, even when he had little. Francis valued family deeply and cherished every moment spent with those he loved. He often expressed gratitude for the blessings Yahuah had given him and held onto faith even through life's challenges. Francis will be remembered for his warm personality, his sharp wit, and the love he carried for his family. His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, but his legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the love he gave, and the memories that will continue to inspire strength in those who knew him.
