Francis X. Stahl, III, 83, Altoona, passed away February 12, 2025, at UPMC Altoona. Born January 3, 1942, Altoona, son of the late Francis X. Jr. and Emma F. (Bush) Stahl. Survived by his sister, Alice M. Fyock; niece, Linda L. Pearson; and grandson, Tom R. Shea. Francis was of the Catholic faith. He was a US Army veteran. Francis attended Penn State Altoona where he received his associates degree in engineering. He retired from PennDot as a civil engineer. Friends and family will be received Tuesday, February 18, 2025, from 12 p.m. until time of service at 1 p.m., Rose Hill Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., Fr. Michael Pleva celebrant. Private interment at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rose Hill Funeral & Cremation Care, Inc., 118 Rosehill Cemetery Dr., Altoona, PA 16602. Condolences may be made at RoseHillFuneralCare.com.
