Jesse Holmwood Obituary
Jesse was born December 14, 1993 in Wellsville, NY to Rodney and Kim Melby Holmwood. He was raised in Cohocton, NY and attended Arkport Central School where he graduated in 2012. He enlisted in the Marine Corps (0811) after high school and was discharged in 2015. He met many life-long friends there. Jesse had an adventurous spirit and compassionate heart. He was always up for any kind of adventure, and always ready to lend a hand, heart, or ear to those who needed it. Jesse enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycling, boating on the water, but spending time with family and friends was his favorite. He gave his heart to Jesus as a small child and his faith in that love carried him through to the end.
Jesse is survived by his two sons, Corbin Holmwood and Mason Meanor, whom he was so proud of and loved deeply; his parents Rod and Kim Holmwood of Cohocton, NY; his brother, Jake(Kara) Holmwood of Altoona, PA; his brother, James Holmwood of Hornell, NY; his maternal grandmother, Ardythe Melby of Clover, SC; His paternal grandparents, John and Kathy Holmwood of Pittman, NJ; and many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Allen Melby of Clover, SC.
Memorial services and a celebration of life ceremony to be held at a later date.
