Francis "Francine" Aline LeBlanc Stepp, 91, of Pearland, went peacefully home to be with the Lord Friday, January 9, 2026, in Houston after a brief illness, surrounded by her loved ones.

Francine was born on October 23, 1934, in Beaumont at St. Theresa Hospital to proud parents Bonnie Mae DeSpain LeBlanc and Clarence Joseph LeBlanc, Sr. and was one of six siblings raised in a very happy, faith-filled home. She graduated from St. Anthony High School in 1951 and stayed in contact with dear friends for many years to come. After training and working as an X-Ray Technician at Hotel Dieu Hospital, she married James Harold Spivey of Sour Lake in 1952 and became a full-time wife and mother to a growing family of seven children whom she loved with all her heart. Full of energy and grace, she was active as a room mom at various schools and at Church as a First Communion teacher. Later in life, she took Communion to the home-bound and nursing homes, as well as volunteering.

In 1983 Francine married William Allen Stepp of Houston and lived at Toledo Bend in Hemphill until his death in 1993, at which time she returned to Beaumont briefly before moving to Crystal Beach, "her happy place". After Hurricane Ike took her beach house in 2008, she settled in Friendswood where she attended Mary Queen Catholic Church and was very happy near family.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Dr. Al LeBlanc and Joe LeBlanc; and her daughter, Cathy Donahoe Randleman.

Survivors include her siblings, Mary Theilen; Bonnie Roberts and her husband, Wayne; Dr. John Leblanc and his wife, Claudia; sister-in-law, Mary LeBlanc; children, Michael Spivey and his wife, Patti; James Spivey, Jr.; Joseph Spivey and his wife, Kerryn; Mary Townsend; Cindy Lopez and her husband, Joe; and Boni Spivey; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A gathering of Mrs. LeBlanc Stepp's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 16, 2026, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2715 Calder Avenue, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont. A reception will be held afterwards at St. Anne Catholic Church Parish Hall.

Pallbearers will be grandsons, Philip Donahoe, Sean Spivey, Jon Marc Watley, Jacob Spivey, Ryan Spivey, and Matthew Spivey
