Loving husband of Constance Vasques (deceased). Beloved father of Frank (DeeDee), Michael (deceased), Anne (David), John (Patty), Terry and Cathy. Cherished grandfather of Sister Christopher Marie, Joseph (Christina), Stephen (Denise), Michelle (Johnny), Raymond and Bobby. Great grandfather of Olivia, Stella and Julianna.
Frank was born on September 19, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York to parents Sebastian and Ann Vasques. Devoted brother to Valarie (deceased). Frank and Connie were married in Resurrection Catholic Church, Gerritsen Beach, Brooklyn on October 29, 1955. They moved to Port Jefferson Station in 1967 where they lived until Connie passed away in 2022. He moved to Maryland in 2023 with his daughter Anne. He was such a fighter and we thought we had more time with him. God had other plans. As World War II Veteran it is very special that he died on VE Day. Everyone that met him thoroughly enjoyed his quick wit, funny sarcasm and charisma. You had to stay on your toes or he would get you. He may have moved to Long Island but he was always a Brooklynite at heart. Fegettaboutit. He always instilled in us our Catholic faith. To always be truthful and do the right thing. He was a great athlete who was drafted by the Brooklyn Dodgers and also one of 3 people to hit home runs off the King and His Court. He will be forever in our hearts.
