FRANCISCO JAVIER CASTRO

April 7, 1947 – December 8, 2025

Francisco Javier Castro age 78 was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico. He came to the US in 1973. He lived in Hayward, CA and later moved to Bakersfield, CA where he met the love of his life Ana Luisa Castro. They met in January 1993 dated a few months then got married November 13, 1993. They had just celebrated 32 years of marriage. Through their marriage, Francisco gained (1) son Alvaro and (2) daughters Anna and Caroline, who he loved as his own. As grandchildren and great-grandchildren arrived, he cherished each of them deeply. Francisco was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a family man and enjoyed traveling, camping on the beach, singing, dancing, and making memories with his family. He was a devoted 49ers fan.

Francisco will always be remembered by many by "Pancho el Pintor." (Pancho the Painter) He was a Professional Painter for 60 + years and started painting at the early age of 14 years old. A trade he mastered and took pride in and was able to teach and pass on to others. Once he was ready for retirement, he found interest in reading, making puzzles, and gardening. He also traveled to the beach in his RV; an accomplishment he always dreamed of having.

Francisco passed away peacefully at his home December 8, 2025. He leaves great heartache to his family who will forever miss him and carry his legacy on.
