Juan passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2026 in Nacogdoches.

Juan Martin Martinez Castro was born and raised in Nacogdoches. He graduated from Nacogdoches High School. In 2021, Martin met the love of his life, Tiffany Medina. Though their time together was cut short, they had a wonderful 5 years that will be cherished by Tiffany and their children.

Martin enjoyed the simpler things in life, like fishing, grilling, and cooking on his smoker, which he had perfected. He was a big Eagles fan and watched them any chance he got. Martin was a true family man and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a jokester and was always making everyone laugh. Martin was very loving and always had a big smile on his face. He was very family oriented and loved planning and taking trips with his wife and kids. Martin will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Martin is survived by his wife, Tiffany Medina; children, Zayd and Zoey Martinez; parents, Telesforo and Gregoria Martinez; sister, Judith Salazar; brothers, Noe Martinez and Mario Martinez; niece, Janelle Guzman; and nephew, Julian Venegas.

Serving as pallbearers will be Noe Martinez, Mario Martinez, Juan Reyes, Lucio Venegas, Juan Cervantes, and Joseph Medina.
