Sherry Miller

A memorial visitation for Sherry Warnell Miller, 65, of Nacogdoches will be held from 2-4pm on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Laird Funeral Home.

Mrs. Miller passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in Houston.

Sherry Miller was born on February 20, 1961, in Center the daughter of Junior Miller and Levi Vernell English Miller. She spent her childhood in the far reaches of east Texas, growing up in Center and attending school at Shelbyville ISD.

Sherry was a daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Her 2 children and her precious grandchildren were the joy in her life and her most precious moments were spent with them, making memories that remained in her mind and heart until she drew her last breath. She loved nothing more than being surrounded by the love and laughter that family brought. Her days were also made more enjoyable with the presence of her precious dogs, that she adored. Later in life, Sherry learned to make candles and spent many hours perfecting the perfect scent for everyone so they all had a bit of her in their houses.

Sherry is survived by her children, Crystal Shepardson & husband Tony and Kevin Lunsford & wife Terri; grandchildren, Savannah Garcia, Hailey Garcia, Trea Garcia, Mason Garcia, Tommy Lunsford, Alba Ann Lunsford, Lane Lunsford, Shiann Lee, Austin Shepardson, Alex Shepardson and Brandon Shepardson; great grandchildren, Alexander Landrum, Elena Landrum, Westen Koerper, Ivy Shepardson and Heidi Shepardson and her sister, Saundra Vega & husband Chris.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Lynn Lunsford and her parents.
